Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv (/qəs/ /ˈji̘gsuv/ [laundry] [religious]) is a subtropical Large Town located in the Kveviēid Region of the Tetbur Commune.
The name Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv was founded by Krugmag Fards, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv has a yearly average temperature of 30°C (86°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv receives an average of 140 cm/y (55 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2238 m (7342 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv was founded durring the early 16th century in fall of the year 1512, by Krugmag Fards. The establishment of Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Krugmag Fards struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv as a prison colony.
Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of spacious packed earth streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv's political statment focused walls are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.
A look around Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv's natural decorations nor waterways.
Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Kami spared the town from an attack. One of Odíhg Qàsji̊gsuv's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
